Run the Jewels are back with a new single “Talk To Me” today (October 24) through the Adult Swim Singles Program, and in it they get honest about the political system.

Killer Mike takes aim at Donald Trump from the very first verse. “We return from the depths of the bad land/ With a gun and a knife in our waistband/ Went to war with the devil and a shaytan/ He wore a bad toupee and a spray tan,” he raps. In another line he accuses the government of being run by corporations. It’s a no holds barred attack on the political system, and an unsurprising stance coming from the politically charged rapper. He most recently stirred up controversy when he spoke at the All Black National Convention in Atlanta, and said the black community wasn’t ready for a revolution.
Killer Mike was a fervent support of Senator Bernie Sanders before the Democratic National Committee officially recognized Hillary Clinton as its presidential candidate, and he hasn’t been quiet about his opinions when it comes to Trump. “Talk To Me” is another instance of how he really feels.
Run the Jewels last released Run the Jewels 2 two years ago, and “Talk To Me” will appear on their upcoming studio album Run the Jewels 3. The duo originally premiered “Talk To Me” when they performed at Coachella over the summer, but now fans can download the track for free at Adult Swim’s website or listen to it on Radio.com.
