Lin-Manuel Miranda recently took his musical talents to this street. The ‘Hamilton’ composer rode a double-decker bus through New York City and performed songs featuring lyrics from Donald Trump tweets. Miranda staged the Trump mini-musical for a GQ Magazine cover story.
“I have not changed a word of these, only added melody,” the Hamilton creator said as a disclaimer.

Miranda started with a tune called “Backhanded Holiday Greetings,” featuring the Trump tweet “Happy Thanksgiving to all— even the haters and losers!”
Then he took on Trump’s infamous taco bowl tweet from Cinco de Mayo for “Racially Questionable Holiday Greetings.” Miranda concluded with “More Backhanded Holiday Greetings,” in which the presidential candidate is featured with a less-than-reverential September 11 commemoration, reports Rolling Stone.
After Miranda’s final Hamilton performance in July, the Pulitzer Prize and Tony Award-winning composer said he would begin several film projects both on and off-screen. He’ll star in the Mary Poppins sequel, Mary Poppins Returns and is working on scores for the animated feature Moana as well as a live-action remake of The Little Mermaid.
